White Moonlight & Silver Kisses

I stumbled upon a song yesterday which I've been playing over and over again. Some songs resonate within me the very first time I listen to them, the tune or lyrics touching me in some unfathomable way. I feel so peaceful right now and could gladly lose myself in this music and drift away! =)

So what have I been doing these past couple of days? I spent the majority of my time bonding with my mother and siblings and catching up with what's new in their lives. As a kid, I was certain that I would always stay extremely close with my siblings and I felt sorry for all the grown-ups who only saw their brothers or sisters during big holidays like Christmas and New Year's. But now I realize that it's completely natural for siblings to create their own separate lives, much like the branches of a tree draw life from the same roots but eventually diverge out into the sky in different paths. Though I don't know every single detail of my siblings' lives, like I did when we were younger and saw each other daily, an unspoken understanding of love and support still binds us together. I've truly been blessed with siblings who are also tremendous friends and mentors. =)

And what else? Lot's of knitting, Olympic watching, reading, and staring out into the sky! The sky is the most beautiful television show I've ever seen in my life. =)
